Berek is married. Long day. On the way home we stopped in Santa Monica to check out the amusement park on the pier--kind of a cut-rate Coney Island. The best part was the building with the carousel and several old coin-operated machines. I checked out a machine with photos of San Francisco after the big earthquake back in the day.
