In Indy. Putting gas in car, getting oil change, and going to sleep.

Just woke up after six or seven hours of sleep. I wonder if not sleeping a night helps to eliminate jetlag?

Need to buy food--I know the milk is no good after a week. I guess I'll have some apple juice.

I woke up twice to a face full of white cat: once shortly after falling asleep and once several hours later. I gave the cats a can of wet food after waking up (Charles is in Danville at a church meeting) and I was swarmed by cats.

Now that life is back to normal we definitely have to look into replacing the hot water heater. The old one is getting quirky and I canNOT stand cold showers.

And now I'm sad because Gary Gygax died. Wait, he had a wife and six (SIX??) kids? But... he was supposed to be the quintessential geek! He was also one of the coolest guests on Futurama EVAR.

I have to get my blood drawn tomorrow morning. My numbers are going to be awful. Not only was I kind of a slacker this past week, I went about 24 hours between exchanges due to travel. Heh.

Think I'll go read for a bit, do another exchange, and try to go to bed at a reasonable hour and see how it goes.

And yes, the weather does indeed suck. We had to be de-iced in Cleveland (which was actually kind of cool) and as we were driving north on I-69 we passed some kind of magic line north of which the roadside trees and shrubs were coated in ice. Wayne says they were let out of work early due to the weather, and the going home was kind of slow. Charles says it took longer than normal to get to the church.

I'm suddenly surrounded by cats for some reason.

A load of laundry is in the washer so I will have pants to wear tomorrow.

Aw, and now I'm teary-eyed. Rich Burlew does it again.

Thanks to [info]kfops my own photo gallery at Morgi.net is now up. So far it's just the first batch of photos, but now that it's all working right I'll get the rest up in the next few days.

    Current Mood: tired
Current Music: Rocket merowing at Charles
